Does under water camera work better than the vexlar? Anyone know?

  10. 75GMCman says:

I wanna fish cam now when I go fishing!! Least you got one!!

  11. lidlnutz says:

@dzemlik the camera is more for fun and produces a little better because you know exactly when the hook is in the fish’s mouth. the down side to cameras is that they don’t pick up light well. if the sun just starts to set, If it’s deep water, or if the water isn’t clear you wont see shit. also, its tough to find your bait in the camera, but once its set at the right spot, you are good to go. If you drop the camera too low, you will stir up muck. vexlars work all the time even when it’s dark.

  12. lidlnutz says:

@Trashfished I didn’t know that. that’s good to know. Bass are ok to eat in the summer. I would surely keep them in the winter if that’s the case. Someone told me you can’t catch bass through the ice in Minnesota. I don’t know if he means legally or what. That sounds like a stupid law. I’m not sure if I believe it.

  13. Trashfished says:

@lidlnutz In Mich you can legally keep them till New years day. I start to fish pike and gills next weekend. Its pretty cool shit! Good luck to ya!

  14. lidlnutz says:

It also depends on the weather. Some days they are just sluggish. a low barometric pressure helps
